Where Bentleys Are Born.

Motor Trend’s ‘The Down Shift’ takes us on a tour of Bentley’s landmark factory in Crewe, England where all Bentley’s and Rolls Royce’s are made. Crewe’s Rolls Royce and Bentley factory has been in use since 1938, almost 75 years. In 1972 it took 5,500 people to make 1,700 cars in one year, today they have around 4,000 employees building approximately 50 cars a day, all hand built with minimal help from 16/17 robots. All Bentley’s are made to order, each one has it’s own unique features and at the end of it’s cycle is 95% recyclable.
