Last month 32-year-old Shena Hardin was caught avoiding a school bus stop sign by passing it on the sidewalk. The school bus picks up a handicapped child at this location and Shena, along with her mother Toni, aren’t pleased with the amount of time it takes to pick up the child. Instead of waiting on the street until the child is picked up, they avoid stopping for the bus by driving on the sidewalk. The mother of the disabled student says the same Jeep has been passing the bus on the sidewalk since last year. School bus driver, Uriah Herron, took video of the Jeep passing the bus on the sidewalk and later a sting operation was set up to catch the driver.
