23-year-old Aric Improta from Fullerton, California performs a five-minute drum solo at the 24th annual Guitar Center’s Drum-Off Grand Finals held in Los Angeles, California. Out of 4,000 drummers Improta was one of five who made it to the competition’s final round. Though Improta’s wild final performance received a standing ovation from the crowd, it was Juan Carlos Mendoza from New Jersey who took home first place.
