California Couple Finds $10 Million In Rare Gold Coins While Walking Their Dog

Earlier this month, a couple in northern California was walking their dog on their property when they found 1,427 rare, mint-condition gold coins. The face value of the coins total more than $27,000 and date from 1847 to 1894. Today, the collection of 19th century gold coins have been dubbed the ‘Saddle Ridge Hoard’ and are estimated to be worth more than $10 million. The couple who found the treasure remain anonymous and plan to sell the coins on Amazon.
