12-year-old Matthew Lannon of Providence, Rhode Island has two moms and two dads who have been together for 14 years. When Matthew found out his mom was going to testify before the House Judiciary Committee in favor of Marriage Equality, he wanted to testify as well. Matthew’s testimony in support of his two moms helped the Marriage Equality bill pass through the House. Today Matthew stunned the Senate Judiciary Committee with his profound speech on same-sex marriage. The Marriage Equality bill now waits to be voted on by the Rhode Island Senate.
