[NSFW – Language] Nickelback is hated upon by many because of their overplayed generic songs which all seem to sound similar. As soon as Nickelback was scheduled to play at half-time Thanksgiving day when the Lions host the Packers, a petition was made to stop the band from performing. The petition was thrown out and Nickelback is set to play this Thursday. Some say Nickelback playing is a plan so people leave their seats and spend money on concessions, which is actually a good plan. We will see how things turn out at half-time this Thursday.
