Four ‘Buddhist Monks’ Breakdance To The Beastie Boys In Honor Of ‘MCA Day’

Over the weekend a group of Buddhist monks (or men dressed as Buddhist monks) visited New York City’s Union Square for MCA-DAY, an annual event meant to celebrate the life of fallen Beastie Boys rapper Adam ‘MCA’ Yauch. Yauch, who was a devout Buddhist and supported the Tibetan independence movement, died in 2012 after a long battle with cancer. The four ‘Buddhist monks’ decided to pay tribute to MCA by breakdancing to some of the Beastie Boys’ greatest hits.
