Louisiana Sinkhole Swallows A Dozen Trees In Just Seconds

John Boudreaux, director of the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness in Assumption Parish, Louisiana, was checking on the 24-acre, 750-foot deep Bayou Corne sinkhole just outside the city Wednesday when he spotted a small patch of trees moving. Boudreaux pulled out a camera and caught the sinkhole swallowing a dozen tall cypress trees in just seconds.
