John Deere – 175 Years.

John Deere was born in Rutland, Vermont on February 7, 1804 and at the age of 33 he opened his first shop in Grand Detour, Illinois. In 1837 Deere created the self-scouring steel plow which replaced wooden and iron plows which required frequent cleaning. Today the multi-billion dollar company is worldwide and is the leading producers in agriculture, construction, forestry and lawn-care equipment. John Deere celebrates it’s 175th anniversary this year and has released this video celebrating the legacy.
