Yves Rossy flying his Jet Pack over the Grand Canyon grabbed the attention of millions, now a new type of flight is taking off. Jarno Smeets, an Electrical Engineer from the Netherlands began creating his own set of bird wings this past summer. After 8 months of hard work Jarno takes a test flight and flies over 100 meters. Jarno describes the feeling of his flight as an ‘Intense feeling of freedom, the true feeling of flying and magical moment. The best feeling I have felt in my life’. This 30 second flight has been seen over 2.5 million times in less than 3 days. Gizmodo and CGI experts claim the video is fake but we will leave that up to you.
