Back in the early 90s Chris Robinson and his family spent $100,000 on Beanie Babies with hopes that one day their collection would be worth enough to put five kids through college. Robinson became a serious collector overnight and has five collections, one for each child. Despite the Beanie Baby craze only lasting a few years and the family now stuck with thousands of Beanie Babies, Robinson says he doesn’t regret the experience and hopes one day Beanie Babies make a comeback.
