A dolphin baby was born early last week at Dolphin Quest Hawaii, located at the Hilton Waikoloa Village in Waikoloa, Hawaii. 12-year-old Keo gave birth to a healthy female calf and both are doing well. Over the next 30 days the newborn will be watched 24/7 recording nursing and respiration rates, and to make sure Keo is well-fed and hydrated. The rarely seen dolphin birth was captured on video and seen over 200,000 times this week.
