‘Disturbing’ Dashcam Footage Captures Trigger-Happy Cop Shooting An Unarmed Man

Earlier this month, 31-year-old South Carolina state trooper Sean Groubert stopped 35-year-old Levar Jones for an alleged seat belt violation. The recently released “disturbing” dashcam video of the traffic stop shows Groubert asking Jones for his license, seconds before opening fire without provocation. According to The State, Groubert was arrested Wednesday and charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature. Jones spent time in the hospital but is recovering. If convicted, Groubert faces up to 20 years in prison.

A group of mean girls at Grand Prairie High School in Grand Prairie, Texas recently pulled a prank on 17-year-old Lillian Skinner by nominating her for homecoming court. Little did the mean girls know that Lillian’s friends, Anahi Alvarez and Naomi Martinez, promised that “no matter what, no backing down,” they’d give Skinner the crown if either of them were named homecoming queen.

Teacher Invents Simple Safety Device To Prevent Gunman From Entering Her Classroom

After the Sandy Hook shooting in 2012, 7th-grade teacher Celisa Edwards from Dacula, Georgia created a simple device to prevent intruders from entering her classroom. Edwards invented the Portable Affordable Lockdown System, or PALS for short, simply a steel rope encased in plastic. The device runs just under $70 and Edwards says, “There is no price you can put on keeping children safe and an intruder out of a classroom.”
