Blossom is a rare baby Blossom bat who landed in the hands of bat carer Louise Saunders of Bat Conservation and Rescue Queensland after a suspected cat attack. While in care Saunders fed Blossom nectar mix and milk formula, she gradually gained weight and practiced flying at night. Once fully rehabilitated Blossom was released on Macleay Island in Queensland, Australia.
