Basketball Court On Aircraft Carrier.

The U.S. aircraft carrier Carl Vinson is known for carrying the body of Osama Bin Laden to his burial at sea. Today it will also be known for holding the first NCAA College Basketball game on it’s deck. Michigan State and #1 North Carolina are set to play at 4 p.m. today. The court is the same court used for the 2011 NCAA National Championship game and consists of 258 individual squares which were lifted more that 14 stories onto the aircraft carrier. The idea is 10 years in the making and has room for 7,000 spectators. One spectator in particular will be president Barrack Obama.
