Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time follows 14-year-old Finn and his best friend Jake, a dog with magical powers. This summer an episode of Adventure Time featured Jake singing ‘Bacon Pancakes’, Jake’s song went viral shortly after airing. Marcus Coronel combined ‘Bacon Pancakes’ with Jay-Z’s ‘Empire State Of Mind’, creating a mash-up entitled – Bacon Pancakes New York. This catchy mash-up has been seen over 500,000 times in one day.
