Minitur Wunderland in Hamburg, Germany is a successful tourist destination which holds the world’s largest model railway. The model includes a smart computer which controls trains, planes, car and ships. Included in the miniature wonderland is the Knuffingen Airport, which is the world’s largest model airport. Add this place to the list of places we need to visit.

World’s Largest Model Airport – The Knuffingen.

Though it might look like another tilt-shift video, this is not. This is a the world’s largest model airport which features 150 square-meters, 40 planes, 90 vehicles, 500 cars, and 300 buildings. The model took 7 years to build and total cost is over $4.8 million.
