Man Captures Incredible Footage Of Dolphin Megapod Off Southern California

In mid-January Captain Dave Anderson of Capt. Dave’s Dolphin and Whale Safari attached a GoPro camera to a DJI Phantom 2 quacopter and sent it flying over the Pacific Ocean. Anderson captured breathtaking footage of a dolphin megapod off Dana Point, California, three gray whales migrating together off San Clemente, California, and a closeup of a newborn Humpback whale calf snuggling with its mother near Maui.

Dana Point Dolphin Stampede.

Just off Dana Point, California, Dana Wharf’s whale watching boat captures a dolphin stampede. The stampede could include up to 2000 dolphins jumping out of the water near the boat. It is unsure if something scared the dolphins or if they are just having a good time. A mini dolphin stampede was seen yesterday on the same whale watching boat. Check out all of Dana Wharf’s Whale Watching videos on their YouTube channel.
