Comedian/actor Russell Brand recently sat down with BBC Newsnight‘s Jeremy Paxman to discuss what gives him the authority to be a guest editor for the New Statesman political magazine when he admits he has never voted and never will. Brand believes the UK’s political system has created a ‘disenfranchised, disillusioned underclass’ that it fails to serve and calls for a revolution to solve the world’s problems.
