Pilot Meltdown On JetBlue Flight 191.

49-year-old Clayton Osbon, a 12-year veteran pilot had a mental breakdown on JetBlue flight 191 yesterday along it’s flight from New York to Las Vegas. Flight 191 made an emergency landing in Amarillo, Texas stating it had a ‘medical situation’. Obson took a moment to use the restroom during the flight and returned to the cockpit finding he was locked out. At that moment he had a mental breakdown banging on the door screaming ‘let me in’ and yelling about Iraq/Iran and the plane going down. Osbon was subdued by passengers and flight staff for 30 minutes until the plane landed safety in Amarillo, Texas. Video of the event was captured by passengers and an off duty captain assisted the co-pilot land the plane. The TODAY show interviewed passengers Tony Antolino and Laurie Dhue as well as Dave Bargar JetBlue’s CEO.
