Helicopter Rescues Deer Stranded On Thin Ice.

Last month Ian Waugh, a retired biologist, spotted a mother deer and her fawn struggling on the frozen waters of Antigonish Harbour in Nova Scotia. Waugh called the Department of Natural Resources, but the ice was too thin for a rescue. A few hours later a DNR helicopter arrived and was able to push the deer along the smooth ice to the shore. The video was recently shared with CTV Atlantic News and now the rescue being seen throughout the world.
