Dan Savage created the It Gets Better Project to help gay teenagers be strong while in high school. Lesbians and gays are being bullied in high school and have turned to suicide as a way out. Adults openly gay have been submitting videos to ItGetsBetter.org telling teens that being openly gay gets better with age. This commercial by Google Chrome was aired during an episode of Glee.
