Elephants Rescue Calf From Being Washed Away In River Current

Safari tourist Sandy Gelderman recently captured this incredible footage of a herd of elephants crossing the Ewaso Nyiro river which runs through Kenya’s Ol Pejeta Conservancy. 50 seconds into the video, the river’s swift current takes a 6-month-old calf down stream. The calf’s aunt and mother quickly come to the rescue and prevent the little one from being washed away in the current.
