DHL Pranks Their Competitors Into Advertising For Them

In a recent marketing stunt created by an external agency, DHL pranks UPS, TNT and DPD couriers into advertising for them. To pull off this clever prank, giant packages that read ‘DHL is faster’ were wrapped in temperature-sensitive foil, cooled until the message was hidden, then picked up by the competition. As the packages warmed up, the words were revealed and their competitors became walking billboards. The genius prank was created for an internal creative competition and has been seen more than 4 million times in one week.
