Polish Tiny Terrier, Little Meysi, is no larger than a can of soda and has a shot at the Guinness World Record for the World’s Smallest Dog. Meysi is the size of a hamster at only 2.7 inches tall [7 cm], 4.7 inches long [12 cm] and weighing just 8.8 ounces [250 g]. Meysi is almost 4 months old now and isn’t expected to grow much more, she can register for the ‘world’s smallest dog’ record when she’s 12 months old. The current record holder is Boo Hoo, a Chihuahua from Kentucky who is 4 inches tall [10 cm].
