After spending a total of nine months away from home, training and serving in Afghanistan, Captain Hyrum Bronson returned home three weeks early and surprised his family at the beach. Capt. Bronson’s wife, Bethany, and their kids were recording messages for him when they had no idea he was about to pop out of the water and surprise them. Bronson told his wife, “I swam all the way just for you honey.”
