Before the 2015 MLB All-Star Home Run Derby Monday night, 18-year-old Marlana VanHoose, who has been blind since birth and lives with cerebral palsy, delivered a moving rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner.” VanHoose’s stunning performance left many viewers with chills, including Home Run Derby announcer Chris Berman who said, “If that doesn’t get you ready for a home run derby nothing will.”
