American Idol debuted season 12 with stand out singer Lazaro Arbos, a 21-year-old Ice Cream Scooper from Naples, Florida. Lazaro developed a severe case of stuttering at age six and it has prevented him from having many friends. Lazaro’s stuttering disappears when he sings, in his American Idol audition he shocks the judges with his performance of Bridge Over Troubled Waters by Simon and Garfunkel.
