High School Water Boy With Down Syndrome Scores Touchdown

18-year-old senior Noah VanVooren was born with Down syndrome and has been a longtime water boy for his high school’s football team, the Little Chute Mustangs in Little Chute, Wisconsin. For the first time ever Friday night, VanVooren suited up as honorary team captain and led his team onto the field. With just 1.2 seconds left on the clock, Little Chute called time out and put VanVooren in the game. In the game’s final play, VanVooren received a handoff, ran the ball 35 yards, and scored his first ever touchdown.
