Last Saturday, a miniature Schnauzer named Sissy unexpectedly ran away from her home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. That night, Sissy walked 15+ blocks and wandered into a local hospital, where her owner, 64-year-old Nancy Franck, had been staying following a surgery. Nancy’s husband, Dale Franck, said, “She was on a mission that night to see her mom, but she couldn’t find the right elevator to take.”
