Lisa Abeyta’s father is in the advanced stages of Alzheimer’s, he has very little speech left and has almost lost his ability to communicate. But during a recent interaction with the family’s dog, Roscoe, her father momentarily found his ability to speak again. Lisa says, ‘Not wanting to lose the memory of the moment, I filmed a few moments of his interaction with our dog’.
