Freshpet Holiday Feast Behind The Scenes
Over the weekend, Melissa Tonkin from Altoona, Pennsylvania left a pizza shop and spotted a group of impatient dogs laying the horn for their owner. After a long beep, the Airedale Terrier in the driver’s seat let out one more to let their owner inside know they were ready to hit the road. The dogs’ owner, who was not gone very long, returned to the car and said, they “love going for rides, but apparently they don’t like waiting.”

When you’re as young at this tiny beagle/pug mix puppy named Jynx, there are a lot of firsts. Jynx’s owner recently captured what might be his most important first of all, eating his first spoonful of peanut butter. This little guy can’t get enough of the peanut buttery goodness.

For the last 20 years, Mufasa the mountain lion has been chained in the back of an old truck and used as an act in a traveling circus. During a raid earlier this year, wildlife officials and Animal Defenders International (ADI) rescued Mufasa and took him to ADI’s Spirit of Freedom rescue centre. After being nursed back to health, Mufasa, who’s unreleasbale, was taken to his forever home on the edge of the Tambopata reserve in the Amazon rainforest. These are Mufasa’s first steps of freedom.
