10 years ago a black Persian cat named Caffrey was struck by a car, he lost his left hind leg and had his front left leg stitched up. It wasn’t until recently that the repaired leg developed a malignant growth and was amputated. Caffrey’s recovery was expected to last several weeks but within just a few days Caffrey achieved near perfect balance and can get around just fine with two right legs.
