Basketball Team Manager With Special Needs Gets Shot Of A Lifetime.

Mitchell Marcus, basketball team manager of the Coronado Thunderbirds in El Paso, Texas, has a developmental disability and has loved the game of basketball his entire life. In the last game of the regular season coach Peter Morales asked Mitchell to suit up. Little did everyone know, coach Morales planned on putting Mitchell in the game, no matter what the score. After a few unsuccessful attempts on the Tunderbirds’ behalf, the unthinkable happened, resulting in the true meaning of sportsmanship.
