Two Skydiving Planes Collide In Mid-Air And Everyone Survives

On Saturday evening, nine veteran skydivers and two pilots took to the skies over Superior, Wisconsin for their final jump of the day. As all nine skydivers were preparing to jump, their two Cessna planes collided at 12,000 feet. Incredibly, divers from both planes and the pilot of the trail plane managed to open their chutes and land safely on the ground. The pilot of the lead plane, Blake Wedan, landed the second plane safely at the Superior Airport with damage to the propeller and wing.
