Young Man With Asperger’s And Tourette’s Syndrome Fulfills Dream Of Appearing On ‘Wheel Of Fortune’

During Wednesday night’s episode of Wheel Of Fortune, viewers fell in love with the show’s first-ever special needs contestant, Trenton ‘Trent’ Girone from Peoria, Arizona. The 21-year-old, who has overcome nine brain surgeries and an open-heart surgery, has Asperger’s and Tourette’s syndrome and had always dreamed of appearing on the show. Shortly after solving the show’s first toss-up puzzle, #TeamTrent began trending on Twitter. Despite finishing the game in third place with $2,105, Trent called it, ‘one of the best days of his life!’
