When a high-end EF-4 tornado touched down just west of Little Rock, Arkansas April 27th, 22-year-old Jeffrey Hunter of Vilonia, AR took cover in a bathroom. 20 miles to the east in Beebe, AR, Jeffrey’s mom, Regina Wood, updated him on where the tornado was headed. When he realized it was going to be a direct hit, Jeffrey had time to send one final text to his mother. It read, ‘Goodbye mama… It’s heading right for me’.
