Waldo Canyon Fire – 5 Day Timelapse.

Steve Moraco captured the Waldo Canyon fire in Colorado Springs, Colorado from June 23rd to June 28th. Steve made captions of keys events and closures as the wildfire grew larger. During the course of five days over 20,000 images were captured and reduced to just over 16 minutes, Steve recommends watching the timelapse in full screen and in HD. Waldo Canyon Fire In Colorado Springs.

The Waldo Canyon fire near Colorado Springs, Colorado has doubled in size over night [24 square miles] and has burned over 15,000 acres, over 1,000 firefighters are fighting the fire and currently have only 5% containment. Over 32,000 residents along interstate 25 in northwest Colorado Springs have been evacuated. The fire entered the northwest portion of Colorado Springs burning Flying W Ranch to the ground along with 100+ other homes.
