Mont Blanc – Speed Flying.

At 15,781 feet Mont Blanc meaning White Mountain is the highest mountain in the Graian Alps located between Italy and France. A group of people are captured speed flying, also known as speed riding, down Mont Blanc from take off to landing. Speed riding is a combination of parachuting and skiing, riders are capable of reaching speeds up to 90mph making this one of the most dangerous sports in the world. This short film called ‘Mont Blanc – Speed Flying’ is an award winning film from the 2009 Banff Mountain Film Festival. Late last year Mashall Miller took us on a first person view of speed flying down Mt. Superior in Utah, though extremely dangerous the views are incredible.
