Former Formula One driver, David Coulthard recently took the Red Bull Formula One showcar for a drive trough the Lincoln Tunnel which travels under the Hudson River connecting New Jersey to Manhattan. Coulthard reached speeds of 190mph [305 km/h] through the 1.5 mile long tunnel, five times faster the normal speed limit of 35mph. If you were to travel through the Lincoln Tunnel at the normal speed limit it would take you almost three minutes. The fast trip through the tunnel was created to promote the Grand Prix of America that is being held in New Jersey June 2013. The Red Bull showcar also made a trip New York’s Liberty Park to preform the American National Anthem.
