Kay Butler from Ann Arbor, Michigan delivered over 200,000 petition signatures to Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) today to reconsider their ‘R’ rating for ‘Bully‘. The film which has the potential to change violence in many schools was given an R-rating due to it’s language. Katy wants the film to have a PG-13 rating so that many others who are bullying or suffering from bullying can see the film. The film follows true stories from several kids who suffer from being teased and physically hurt by bullies. Over 13 million kids are bullied each year in the United States, this film has a great potential to put a stop to it. Bully releases in select theaters March 30th.
