Hiker With A Broken Ankle Tells It How It Is
Girl Breaks Ankle Hiking And Makes Video Diary During Rescue.
[NSFW] 21-year-old Colorado State University student, Alexandra ‘Lexi’ De Forest recently went hiking in Wyoming’s Vedauwoo Mountains with her friend, Erik Henry. While hiking Lexi tried jumping a trench, she ended up falling 8 feet into the trench and broke her ankle. Lexi pulled out her camera and began filming herself talking about her family and friends, anything to distract her from looking at her ankle. After an hour alone on the mountain, Erik returned with paramedics and Lexi was airlifted to the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado. Lexi has undergone two surgeries and is now able to move her toes but cannot walk yet. Lexi’s story has gone national and has become one of the most watched videos this weekend.
