Curiosity Celebration
The Curiosity Rover Landing On Mars.
The Mars Science Laboratory or Curiosity Rover is set to land on Mars tonight at 1:30am EST or 10:30pm PDT. Curiosity is largest rover sent to Mars weighing just under 2,000 pounds. Communication with Curiosity is delayed by seven minutes, therefore there will be ‘seven minutes of terror‘. Curiosity will come to a stop on mars but we will not know for an additional seven minutes whether it landed safely or in pieces. You can watch Curiosity land on Mars live below via Ustream and on NASA TV.
