Boston Red Sox National Anthem
Peter Rometti – National Anthem At Fenway Park.
When the Boston Red Sox played the Texas Rangers June 30th, 2007 something unexpected happened during the performance of the National Anthem on Fenway Park’s Disability Awareness Day. Peter Rometti, a young man with autism, sang the Star Spangled Banner in front thousands before the game. Peter begins giggling and laughing nervously in the middle of the song, the crowd cheers and claps in encouragement and when it seems he might not make it through the entire song the fans join Peter and help him finish.
