Man Bids $60,000 For Fallen Officer’s Squad Car, Immediately Hands Keys To Officer’s Son

In 2010, Deputy Sam Brownlee was killed in the line of duty following a police chase. Wednesday night, Brownlee’s patrol car went to a public auction, and his son, Tanner, had the chance to acquire one of his father’s most prized possessions. The bidding quickly surpassed Tanner’s limit, but little did he know a stranger, Steve Wells, would bid $60,000 on the car and immediately hand over the keys.
