[NSFW – Language] New York City-based street artist Jason ‘Jay Shells’ Shelowitz has created 46 ‘Rap Quote’ street signs that feature notorious hip hop lyrics and places them at the exact corner/location referenced in each song. Shells’ goal is to map New York’s hip hop history and hopes that one day the signs will be replaced with bronze plaques that can not be stolen.
