Paul Walker Once Anonymously Bought An Engagement Ring For A Young Iraq Veteran And His Fiancee

As many mourn the tragic loss of actor Paul Walker, many stories of his generosity and kindness have come to light. Several years ago Walker was in Bailey Banks and Biddle Jewelers in Santa Barbara, California and noticed a young military veteran and his fiancee interested in an engagement ring that was well beyond their budget. After overhearing the couple’s conversation, Walker spoke to the manager, put the $10,000 ring set on his tab anonymously, and walked out. The saleswoman, Irene King, called it ‘the most generous thing I have ever seen’.
