Man With Down Syndrome Fulfills Dream Of Singing The National Anthem At A Boston Red Sox Game

For more than a decade Mike Mullins, a 38-year-old die-hard Red Sox fan with Down syndrome, has had a dream of singing ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ at Fenway Park. Finally, after 10 years of performing the National Anthem for the Red Sox’s minor league team, Mike was selected to sing at a major league home game. On Thursday, May 1st Mike’s dream came true when he sang the National Anthem in front of 35,000.
