Molly Kate Kestner, a high school senior from Austin, Minnesota, has captivated the internet this week with a performance of her original song, ‘His Daughter’. Kestner’s powerful song is ‘about a girl abandoned by her alcoholic father who’s looking for love in the wrong places, but eventually creates a family of her own’. Kestner wrote the song herself one year ago and in just one week her performance has been seen more than one million times.
