11-year-old mariachi singer Sebastien De La Cruz, of San Antonio, Texas was ecstatic when he found out he would be singing the National Anthem before game three of the NBA finals. Sebastien performed an amazing rendition of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’, but quickly received countless racist tweets on Twitter. Sebastien looks beyond the racial tweets and says, ‘I’ve learned that you don’t really care what people say about you, it’s what you think about yourself’. Sources at FOX San Antonio say that Sebastien will sing the National Anthem again before Thursday night’s game four.
